Bac Ha - Sapa

3 days in Bac Ha - Sapa (from Hanoi)

Day 1. Ha Noi - Lao Cai (By night train)

Depart at 8:00 pm in Hanoi Railway Station. Overnight in cabin room with berths in the train.

Day 2. Lao Cai - Bac Ha - Sa Pa

After meeting a guide at the Lao Cai railway station we have breakfast there and go to market of ethnic minorities ( Bac Ha market if it's Sunday, Coc Ly market if it's Tuesday, Can Cau market if it's Saturday or Cheng Sin market if it's Wednesday). The market deeply shows the typical cultural features of the minorities in remote mountainous areas in Vietnam. Further more, you can enjoy seeing boys and girls in colourful costumes - different colours of the mountains.

Visit the market. Lunch in Bac Ha. Boat trip on Chay River to Bao Nhai - visit hill-tribe villages of Nung, H'Mong and Zdao people on the way (2hrs cruise). After stroll around the market turn back to the car for transfer to Sapa. Check in and stay at hotel in Sapa.

Day 3. Sapa - Lao Cai - Ha Noi

Visit to the Silver Waterfall; from there you can see stunning views of the surrounding mountains and the lush forests belonging to Hoang Lien National Park. Here you will have a fantastic opportunity to view the magnificent scenery.You follow the paths of the local people in the mountain.Visit  Cat Cat village of the H'mong people.

Afternoon, you continue Muong Hoa valley with terrace field and daily activities of the local. you will enjoy a pleasant walk from Lao Chai to Tavan village, home to Dzay hill tribe people. Drive back to Laocai Station for the night train to Hanoi. Have dinner before getting on the night train to Hanoi.
