Day 1: Arrival Hanoi (D)
Welcomed by guide and driver at the airport and transferred to the hotel for check-in. In the afteroon, walking tour around Hoan Kiem Lake (Restored Sword) and Ngoc Son Temple (Jade Moutain). Then you enjoy the rickshaw ride tour to the Old Quarter. And the evening highlight is to be entertained with Water Puppet Performance; the art only exists in Vietnam. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 2: Hanoi, cooking class - City Tour (B,L,D)
Transfert to the restaurant. Take a short walk to market. Here you will learn more about the various local ingredients including vegetables, fruits and Vietnamese herbs and spices. Then you return to the restaurant to learn the way to make some Vietnamese specialties. Have lunch with what you have cooked. After lunch, you will be transferred to visit the Temple of literature. Continue to visit Tran Quoc pagoda, Quan Thanh temple and Temple of Literature - the first college of Viet Nam and the place dedicating to Confucian. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 3: Hanoi - Halong Bay on boat (B,L,D)
Depart from Hanoi to Ha Long Bay with over 3000 islands and islets. Afternoon: Check in the cabin on boat. Delicious, fresh, seafood lunch. During that time we will have the opportunity to visit some grottoes such as Dau or Amazing Cave or Heaven Palace cave, crammed with stalagtites and stalagmites Anchoring for sunset, seafood dinner and stay over night. (it is possible Cruise Halong Bay on private junk)
Day 4: Halong - Hanoi - Hue (B,L,D)
After breakfast, boat cruise to explore toward Bai Tu Long Bay and Ha Long City. Ttransfer to to Hanoi by road and stop at Dong Trieu pottery village before transferring direct to airport for flight to Hue. Overnight at hotel in Hue.
Day 5: Hue - cooking class, city tour (B, L, D)
Embark on boat for a cruise on the Perfume River . Stop at Dong Ba Market and buy necessary food for cooking class with our chief. Visit a Thien Mu pagoda - the symbol of Hue city. Back to the boat for a scenic cruise to Thuy Bieu Village - famous for Green Tea fruit. Arrive Thuy Bieu, a nice walking or biking around village. Visit the garden - house, ancient ancestral temple and communicate with local people. Visit incense making family to discover the daily life of local people while they are working strenuously with joy and enthusiasm.
Come back to Thuy Bieu restaurant for cooking class, you will prepare lunch by yourself with our chief's instruction. Have lunch with Hue traditional dishes you have just cooked. Relax by steeping your foot in medicinal herb water - a traditional therapeutic practice. Enjoy excellent massage by blind people.
Then you visit the tombs of the emperors of the Nguyen dynasty: tomb of King Tu Duc (1865) or that of King Minh Mang (1843). Overnight at hotel in Hue
Day 6: Hue - Da Nang - Hoi An (B, L, D)
Morning tour of the Imperial City of Hue. Depature for Hoi An, passing over the dramatic "Moutain and Clouds" Pass. Stop at Lang Co Beach and visit the famous Cham Museum in Danang and continue to Hoian, check in hotel and stroll down to the picturesque river front for a refreshing drink before dinner at local Restaurant. Overnight in Hoian.
Day 7: Hoian (B, L, D)
Breakfast, visit Janpanese Covered Bridge, Tan Ky Ancient House, the Museum of Ceramics... Lunch at local restaurant. The afternoon then visit the village crafts Hoian. Rest of free time for shopping or going to the beach of Cua Dai. Overnight in Hoian
Day 8: Hoi An - Danang - Cai Be, cooking class (B, L, D)
Free time until transfer back to airport of Da Nang for flight to dynamic Ho Chi Minh City, and direct transfer to Cai Be town on the Mekong. Installing Mekong Lodge located in the middle of a typical village. Bike ride in the village, stroll through the orchards, tasting tropical fruits. Vietnamese cooking class. Overnight at Cai Be.
Day 9: Cai Be - Vinh Long - HCM city (B, L, D)
After breakfast, boarding a small boat and cruise led a by local tour guide to Cai Be floating market, traditional villages, evergreen orchard. Discover the smaller canals and tributaries by traditional sampan. Visit an old house in typical Vietnamese architecture. Continuation of the cruise to An Binh Island. Stop to visit a bonsai garden or nursery. Discovery of a workshop of ceramic and tile. To Vinh Long, and landed way back to Ho Chi Minh City. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh city.
Day 10: Ho Chi Minh city - Departure (B)
Visit the Old colonial area around the Post Office designed by Gustave Eiffel, Notre Dame and the famous Rue Catinat (now Dong Khoi Street). Then start to the Cholon of Chinatown, great Binh Tay Market and Thien Hau pagoda known as the Lady of heaven. Rest of time free for the last shopping until transfer to Saigon airport for your departure flight.
