Day 01: Sai Gon Arrival
Upon arrival at Tan Son Nhat airport, welcome transfer to you hotel for check in. Free time at leisure. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh
Day 02: Sai Gon - city tour (B)
We visit the Reunification Palace which was the former residence of the President of South Vietnam until end of April 1975, and some French colonial structures including the Notre Dame Cathedral, the Old Sai Gon Post Office. After seeing the Vimh Nghiem Pagoda, Thien Hau Pagoda and the War Remnant Museum, we continue our trip on to the Cho Lon, Saigon's Chinatown.
Day 03: Sai Gon - Cu Chi - Tay Ninh (B)
This morning drive to visit Tay Ninh Great Temple, the headquarter of the indigenous religion CaoDai. Arriving at noontime, we will have chance to joint the daily ceremony. Then we drive this afternoon to explore the Cu Chi Tunnels, an incredible underground tunnel network of approximately 200 kilometres constructed by Vietnamese fighters during the long struggle for independence. Return to Saigon. Overnight in Saigon.
Day 04: Sai Gon - Mekong Delta - Sai Gon (B,L)
In the morning, we drive 70km to MyTho city in the Mekong Delta. On arrival, board our boat for a river cruise on the upper part of the Mekong River and explore of agriculture life. We'll have coconut milk, seasonal fruits, honey tea and lunch with excellent Vietnamese food at restaurant local. Visit DongTam snake farm and pogoda VinhTrang. Back to Ho Chi Minh city. Overnight in Saigon.
Day 05 Sai Gon - Hue (B)
Free until time to transfert to the aiport. Take flight to Hue, the ancient capital recognized as cultural heritage of humanity in 1993. Visit: the Citadel Imperial : the Forbidden City and the tomb of Emperor Tu Duc. Overnight in Hue.
Day 06: Hue city tour (B)
Visit Thien Mu Pagoda and Minh Mang tomb. Cruise on the Perfume River. The tour ends by shopping at Dongba Market. Overnight in Hue.
Day 07: Hue - Da Nang - Hoi An (B)
Depart for Da Nang traveling over Hai Van pass, fishing village of Lang Co and the Museum of Cham Sculpture. Overnight in Hoi An.
Day 08: Hoi An (B)
A walking tour around the old sections of Hoian : he Japanese Bridge, Phuc Kien Pagoda, Phung Hung old house, combining Chinese. Afternoon, free at Cua Dai beach. Overnight in Hoi An.
Day 09: Hoi an - Da nang - Hanoi (B)
After breakfast, transfert to aiport for flight to Hanoi. Welcome and transfert to hotel. Take cyclo through the old streets. Evening: puppet show on the water. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 10: Hanoi city tour (B)
Visit the Quan Thanh Temple ( Taoist, dating from the Ly Dynasty ) and Buddhist Tran Quoc Pagoda on West lake ( One of the oldest in Vietnam ) and the Temple of literature. Continue to visit Museum of Ethnology - the most interesting museum in Hanoi with many different things relating the 54 Vietnamese ethnic groups. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 11: Hanoi - Ninh Binh - Trang An, la baie d'Halong terrestre (B)
Transfert to Ninh Binh. Visit Hoa Lu ancient Capital city of Vietnam of King Dinh and King Le. Then take the amazing boat trip to visit Trang An grottoes called "Halong Bay on land". Small walk to visit the village crafts, meet and talk with local people ... Overnight in Ninh Binh.
Day 12: Ninh Binh - Ha Long (B,L,D)
Breakfast, departure to Halong bay, Natural World Heritage. The cruise boat to admire the exotic islets. During that time we will have the opportunity to visit some grottoes such as Dau or Amazing Cave or Heaven Palace cave. Lunch and dinner aboard with seafood. Overnight on the junk.
Day 13: Ha Long - Hanoi (B,L)
Breakfast. Continuation of the cruise in Ha Long Bay across Bai Tu Long where the scenery is great and there are not many tourists. You will be able to stop for swimming and visiting the floating village. Disembark at Halong. Return to Hanoi
Day 14: Hanoi - Luang Prabang (B)
Breakfast at hotel and transfer to Hanoi airport, take the flight to Luang Prabang.
Arrive in Luang Prabang and transfer to our hotel for check-in. In the afternoon, we take a sightseeing tour of the sacred city of temples, of which nearly fifty temples still remain in the town and surrounding areas. Visit Wat Visoun, the 16th century temple served as a small museum for religious artifacts; Wat Aham, the early 19th century temple, whose two guardian figures at the foot of the steps which represent two characters from the Ramayana - Hanuman, the Monkey God and a fierce Yaksa; Wat Xiengthong, the 16th century temple which, more than any temples in Luang Prabang, epitomizes all the elegance and grace of Luang Prabang architecture; Phousi Hill, the 328 steps leads to the summit of Phousi hill that dominates the sky-line of Luang Prabang overlooking the finest panoramic view in the whole Luang Prabang. Overnight at hotel.
Day 15: Luang Prabang - Pak Ou cave (B,L)
Breakfast at hotel, visit the National Museum, the former Royal Palace which houses the collection of valuables including the famous Prabang Buddha statue, gifts received from foreign dignitaries...etc and then take an excursion (a few hours) by boat, upstream on the Mekong to visit Pak Ou cave in the side of a lime stone cliff and opposite of the mouth of the Mekong and Ou rivers. The sanctuaries at Pak Ou consist of two large caves, both repositories for thousands of Buddha images, which range from mere centimeter to two meters in height. En route, Lao typical villages are barely visible behind a screen of foliage. Slender canoes bobbing by the shore, bamboo poles and floats mark the location of nets and fish traps. Our first stop will be at Ban Muangkeo, a well-known village for Lao traditional rice whisky, namely Laoh-Khao to be distilled. We are welcome to taste it and also take away. We arrive back at Luang Prabang in late afternoon. Overnight at hotel.
Day 16: Luang Prabang - Khuangsi waterfall (B,L)
Breakfast at hotel, drive to the Khung Si Waterfalls, the Waterfalls tumble over multi-tiered limestone formations into cool, clear pools ideals for swimming and relaxing. on the way to waterfalls, visit the Khmu minority village of Ban Thapaene. Picnic Lunch near by Waterfalls. And than we go to Elephant riding .Return to Luangprabang. on the way visit Ban Xom, Lowland Lao village known for its cotton producttion and Ban Xang Khong village to see how traditional Sa paper is made. Overnight at hotel.
Day 17: Luang Prabang - Departure (B)
After breakfast, free at leisure until transfer to next destination. End of services.
