Day 01: Arrival Ho Chi Minh city
Upon arrival at Tan Son Nhat airport, welcome transfer to you hotel for check in. Visit the dynamic city: the historic Reunification Palace and War Remnants Museum, followed by the architectural treats of French colonial Notre Dame Cathedral and the Post Office, Vinh nghiem and Thien Hau Pagoda, the Chinese district of Cholon. Overnight at hotel.
Day 2: Ho Chi Minh - Cai Be (B,L,D)
Breakfast. Depature to Cai Be. Boarding near the floating market Cai Be at noon. Lunch while en route. Visit of a village on the banks of river Mang Thit, an opportunity to appreciate the way of life and hospitality of the local inhabitants. Visit of the orchard or rice fields nearby. The Bassac sets anchor for the night.
Day 3: Cai Be - CanTho - Ho Chi Minh (B)
You may get up for breakfast as early as 06:30, as the ship is resuming its cruise the Tra On floating market. The ship then departs towards Can Tho. Arrival in Cai Rang floating market, check out and transfer onto a local boat to visit the floating market, the nearby arroyos and gardens and return to the Ninh Kieu pier. End of services on shore at Cần Thơ upon boarding the small boat for the last visit, typically about 8:30. Walking or biking around the village. Return to Ho Chi Minh city.
Day 4: Ho Chi Minh - Hue (B)
Breakfast at hotel, transfert to the aiport. Take flight to Hue, the ancient capital recognized as cultural heritage of humanity in 1993. Visit: the Citadel Imperial : the Forbidden City and walk to Dong Ba market, the economic center of Hue, where you will find the beautiful conical hats made of typically palm Vietnamese. Overnight at hotel in Hue.
Day 5: Cruise in Hue (B,L,D)
Pick up at your hotel then embark on boat at Thien Mu Pagoda wharf, check in and visit Thien Mu pagoda. Arrive a quiet Thuy Bieu village - a laidback village famous for growing pomelo. Enjoy a nice walking or biking around the village. Visit an old communal house, pass by several ancient ancestral temples and communicate with local people. Enjoy excellent massage by blind people. In the evening, join our cooking class and prepare dinner by yourself with our chief's instruction. Have dinner with dishes you have just cooked. Sweet overnight on boat.
Day 6: Hue - Da Nang - Hoi An (B)
Breakfast on boat while enjoy the magnificent sunrise on Perfume river. Disembark and we drive on one of the most beautiful roads in Vietnam, the Mandarin Road, to Hoi An. We pass the Hai Van Pass (Ocean Cloud Pass), a mountainous highway offering splendid views over the South China Sea. Stop at Marble mountain et visit marble carvers village. Continuation on road to Hoi An. Arrive Hoi An, check in hotel and free time for shopping or Cua Dai beach. Overnight in Hoi An.
Day 7: Hoi An - Da Nang - Hanoi (B)
Visit Hoi An town on foot: Japanese Covered Bridge, Chinese's street, Phung Hung's house, market and ancient port. Transfert to aiport for flight to Hanoi. Welcome and transfert to hotel. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 8: Hanoi - Ha Long (B,L,D)
Breakfast and departure to Halong bay, the World Natural Heritage Site recognized by UNESCO. On arrival in at noon, boarding a wooden junk to enjoy an enchanting cruise ship for 2 days 1ngiht. Halong Bay is a natural wonder, with numerous islands and lime-stones rising from the emerald water. In addition, the play of light, clouds and mist create an atmosphere unexpected. Discover life on the bay with all its fishing boat and its families live either in floating houses or on simple board. In late afternoon, the boat anchored for the night in the bay. You'll also have chance to enjoy a wonderful sunset. Lunch and dinner seafood aboard. Pass the night on junk. (Possibility on private junk)
Day 9: Ha Long - Hanoi (B,L)
Breakfast. Continuation of the cruise in Halong Bay with numerous islands. Landing around 11:30 and resumed the road to Hanoi, visiting the pagoda original 300 years old But Thap and Dong Ho Village Craft. Transfer to Hanoi.
Day 10: Hanoi - Departure (B)
Breakfast. cyclo (pedaled rickshaw) ride thought the Old quarters for the first glimpses of Hanoians'daily life. West Lake round trip and some site round the lake (Quan Thanh Temple and Tran Quoc Pagoda) and Temple of Literature - the first college of Viet Nam and the place dedicating to Confucian. Afternoon: Transfer to Hanoi airport for departure flight.
