Day 1: Arrival Hanoi (D)
Arrival in Hanoi airport, pick up by guide and driver. Transfer to hotel on the center of city. Afternoon: walking tour around Hoan Kiem Lake (Restored Sword) and visit to Ngoc Son pagoda (Jade mountain temple). A cyclo (pedaled rickshaw) ride thought the Old quarters for the first glimpses of the daily life of Hanoians. Enjoy the water puppet show in the evening. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 2: Hanoi - Lao Cai (B)
Breakfast at hotel. West Lake round trip and some site round the West Lake (Quan Thanh Temple and Tran Quoc Pagoda) and Temple of Literature - the first college of Viet Nam and the place dedicating to Confucian. Afternoon: we visit the Ethnology Museum. In the evening, transfer to railway station, we catch train to Lao Cai. Overnight in air-conditioned wagon.
Day 3: Lao Cai - Bac Ha - Sa Pa (B)
Arrival in Lao Cai in the early morning, around 5:00 AM. Transfer to Bac Ha (100km - 3h on route). Breakfast in local restaurant. Then, we participate to Bac Ha' market - a colorful market of ethnic minorities and open only in the morning's Sunday. (Coc Ly market if it's Tuesday, Can Cau market if it's Saturday or Cheng Sin market if it's Wednesday). The market deeply shows the typical cultural features of the minorities in remote mountainous areas in Vietnam. Further more, you can enjoy seeing boys and girls in colorful costumes - different colors of the mountains. Boat trip on Chay River to Bao Nhai - visit hill-tribe villages of Nung, H'Mong and Zdao people. Drive to Sapa. Overnight at hotel.
Day 4 : Sapa - Lao Cai - Ha Noi (B)
This morning, we have chance to explore the Silver cacasde and Cat Cat valley. Then we take very beautiful drive from Sapa to the villages along the valley of Muong Hoa. Our first stop is at Lao Chai village of the H'mong people. It is said that H'mong was one of the first immigrants to this area and famous for their hand weaving and terrace rice field in Sapa. We take a walk around the village of Ta Van of the Giay people via the terraces and the trails; experience the diversity of hill tribe people there. Transfer to Lao Cai for night train to Hanoi. Arrival inHanoi the following morning.
Day 5: Hanoi - Halong Bay (B,L,D)
Breakfast and departure to Halong bay, the World Natural Heritage Site recognized by UNESCO. We embark our traditional wooden junk to discover this spectacular site. Halong Bay is a natural wonder, with numerous islands and lime-stones rising from the emerald water. In addition, the play of light, clouds and mist create an atmosphere unexpected. Discover life on the bay with all its fishing boat and its families live either in floating houses or on simple board. In late afternoon, the boat anchored for the night in the bay. You'll also have chance to enjoy a wonderful sunset. Lunch and dinner seafood aboard. Pass the night on junk. (Possibility on private junk)
Day 6: Halong Bay - Hanoi - Hue (B,L)
We visit the floating fishermen's village and continue to visit Ha Long Bay with numerous islands. Around noon, about 11h30 return to the port where we disembark and drive back to Hanoi in the afternoon. In the course of road, we will visit the But Thap' pagoda. Transfer to Hanoi airport for the flight to the ancient capital of Hue. Arrive in Hue, check in the hotel.
Day 7: Hue the city of peace and poetry (B)
Visit Great Enclosure of Royal Citadel, the complex of Noon Gate, Royal Palace, and Temples build in 1802. Afternoon boat trip on the Perfume River go up stream visit Thien Mu Pagoda, Then you visit the tombs of the emperors of the Nguyen dynasty: tomb of King Tu Duc (1865) and that of King Minh Mang (1843). Walking tour to visit the village handicrafts of Hue, meet and talk with local people ... Overnight at hotel in Hue
Day 8: Hue - Da Nang - Hoi An (B)
Leave Hue for Da Nang through the Hai Van tunnel-the greatest tunnel in Asia, en route, photo stop at the top of Cloud - Ocean pass and Lang Co fishing village. Stop at the foot of the mountains of marble, marble carvers' village. Continuation of the road to Hoi An. In Hoi An, we visit Japanese Covered Bridge, Chinese's street, Phung Hung's house, market and ancient port. Overnight at hotel.
Day 9: Hoi An - My Son - Hoi an (B)
Drive to My Son, Unesco World Heritage, and the Hinduism Sanctuary of Champa kingdom built from VII to XIII centuries. The complex of brick towers, decorated with statues, sculptures divided in many groups and located in the mysterious forest. Back to Hoi An, visit handicraft village and free at Cua Dai beach. Overnight at hotel.
Day 10: Hoi An - Da Nang - Nha Trang (B)
Free time until the transfer to Danang airport and flight to Nha Trang. Arrival, check in at the hotel. Afternoon: Visit Ponagar Cham tower, Hon Chong Promontory, Long Son Pagoda, Dam Market. Free time on beach. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 11: Nha Trang (B)
The tour will depart from your hotel to Monkey Island. We will take a boat ride to the island where you can see over 300 monkeys in their natural habitat. Animals' shows are also performed on the island. . Then, depart to Ba Ho Waterfall ("three lakes"), 25km north of the Nha Trang City, where you can climb the rocks and dive into the crystal clear waters. If you are daring, leap from the highest peak!!! Go to Doc Let Beach, one of Vietnam's most stunning beaches, with its blue waters and chaulk-white sands. Back to Nha Trang. On our return journey, you can see the salt fields and take photos of the striking countryside landscapes. Overnight in Nha Trang.
Day 12: Nha Trang - Ho Chi Minh City (B)
After breakfast, transfer to airport Nha Trang for flight to Ho Chi Minh City. Visit the dynamic city. Visit the historic Reunification Palace and War Remnants Museum, followed by the architectural treats of French colonial Notre Dame Cathedral and the Post Office, Vinh nghiem and Thien Hau Pagoda, the Chinese district of Cholon. Overnight at hotel.
Day 13: Ho Chi Minh city - Ben Tre - Can Tho (B)
Breakfast at hotel. Road to Ben Tre. Enjoy a rowing boat ride in the shadows of the water-coconut palms along the tiny canals of Ben Tre Province. Spend some time in the villages to learn about the style live of the inhabitants on the water and the islands of the Mekong. Visit factories rice cakes, coconut candy. Transfer to Can Tho. Overnight at hotel.
Day 14: Can Tho - Ho Chi Minh city (B)
After breakfast, take the morning boat trip to visit the Cau Rang and Phong Dien floating market. Walk or cycle for discovery local daily live. Back to Ho Chi Minh City. Overnight at hotel.
Day 15: Ho Chi Minh city - Departure (B)
Free time for the last shopping until transfer to Saigon airport for your departure flight.
